Item SB068, GEO BURRILL, deep copper brown color, cylindrical, Iron Pontil, wonderful large applied double tapered top, bold embossing, good crudeness with surface texture and lots of whittle, this bottle is made of thick glass and is quite heavy. It has two pinhead size pick marks; one on the rear shoulder, the other at the corner of the base (this one can be seen at 8 o’clock on the picture of the base). Otherwise perfect condition, a great example of this “stubby” beer bottle made at one of the STODDARD, NEW HAMPSHIRE GLASSHOUSES, circa 1850, $950
