Item PM432, MORSE’S / CELEBRATED SYRUP / PROV. R. I., medium to deep bluish emerald green, Open Pontil, tapered applied top, 9 3/8” high, bold embossing, lots of tiny bubbles in the glass, highly whittled, has a few tiny spots of light high point wear on the back otherwise sparkling perfect condition. I have seen a few of these over the years but none of them had the depth of color or the “character” that this one has, the ultimate example, a great big piece of deep green whittled glass! Sold

Note: In 1850 it was advertised as “AMBROSE MORSE’S YELLOW DOCK, DANDELION AND SARSAPARILLA COMPOUND SYRUP”.
