Item BT538, F-46, THE / FISH BITTERS – W H. WARE / PATENTED 1866, figural fish, shaded deep to dark chestnut brown, 11 ¾” high, has a few tiny spots of minor high point wear otherwise perfect condition, usually these dark colored fish have very weak embossing, this one’s not bad, one of the darkest examples we recall seeing, it would look great and add contrast to a color run, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1866 to 1880, $1,900
