Item PT066, Chestnut Flask, 19 vertical ribs, light amethyst, 4 ¼” high, solid Pontil scar, sheared lip, the ribbing is bold on the neck but gradually weakens towards the base, has some light wear and scratches, a very rare rib count and color. A nice example in a pretty and very unusual color, likely made in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, circa 1800 to 1830, $800
