Item FL586, GI-10, Washington, “G. WASHINGTON.” – Eagle, rich aqua, Open Pontil, Pint, sheared lip, bold embossing, numerous bubbles in the glass, has a few tiny spots of high point wear otherwise perfect condition, McKearin lists this flask as being scarce but it seems to be much rarer than that. We only have 3 auction prices for it in the last 16 years. The last example sold in 2018 for $2925 and it had some wear and stain! a great example of this early and rare flask, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania circa 1825 to 1840, $2,300
