Item BT440, S-124, B. T. 1865. S. C. / SMITHS / DRUID BITTERS, figural barrel, deep puce color, very bold embossing, has thousands of tiny to medium size bubbles in the glass, applied flange lip, has been very lightly cleaned and they did a magnificent job as all the surface texture is still there, it has a partially open bubble on the inside of the applied lip, the opening is ¼”, This is a very attractive example of this bottle and I didn’t realize it was cleaned until I looked at it very closely. This product was from Baltimore, Maryland circa 1865 to 1872. Here is an opportunity to acquire a nice example without paying the $3,000 to $5,000 they normally sell for, $2,500
