DR BROWDER'S / COMPOUND SYRUP / OF INDIAN TURNIP, aqua, Open Pontil, rectangular with wide beveled corners, 6 7/8" high, bold embossing, highly whittled, tapered applied top. Has a few wisps of inside haze from the contents, otherwise perfect condition, an excellent example of this classic medicine bottle, $325
DR TOWNSEND'S - SARSAPARILLA - ALBANY / N.Y., olive green, deeply indented base with Sand Chip Pontil, nice crude tapered applied top, large bold lettering, 1,000's of tiny to medium size bubbles in the glass. A tiny flake on the outside of the lip may have been buffed. Also a tiny (1/8") spot of roughness at a corner on the underside on the base. Despite the two minor flaws this is a nice example of an early Dr Townsend's bottle. $325

LABEL ONLY, yellowish olive amber, Sand Chip Pontil, cylindrical 3 piece mold, 7 1/8" high, applied double tapered top, 1,000's of tiny to small bubbles in the glass. The bottle is in perfect condition, it has 100% of the original label stating that it is a cough syrup from PITTSFIELD NEW HAMPSHIRE. There is a picture of an early locomotive at the top of the label, a very rare and interesting bottle, $495
PHELPS'S - ARCANUM - WORCHESTER - MASS, olive green, Sand Chip Pontil, cylindrical with 8 indented panels, 9 ¼" high, nice crude double tapered applied top, 100's of tiny to small bubbles in the glass. Has a tiny (1/8") chip on the lip with a small (3/8") iridescent bruise associated with it. Also a pinhead size bruise on the underside of the base. Otherwise this is a sparkling clean attic bottle. An excellent example of this rare bottle in a very rare pure green color, $3,400
DR MYER'S - VEGETABLE EXTRACT / SARSAPARILLA / WILD CHERRY / DANDELION - BUFFALO. N.Y, deep aqua, Iron Pontil, rectangular with indented panels, 9 ¾" high, wonderful super crude double tapered applied top with a big drip of glass extending down the neck on one side. Bold embossing, highly whittled, has some minor wear mostly on the back panel. A fantastic bottle with thick heavy glass and in the best possible color for this bottle. $1,700
E. QUERU'S / COD LIVER OIL / JELLY, aqua, Open Pontil, footed wide mouth jar, 6 3/8" high, large very bold lettering, very whittled. At the corner of the base, a tiny sand grain has a tiny (3/16") radiation through it, also a few minor wear marks, otherwise sparkling perfect condition. A nice example of this very rare and interesting jar, from New York City, advertised 1857 - 1859, $250
DOCTOR - GEO. W. BLOCKSOM - DRUGGIST - ZANESVILLE, light sapphire blue, Iron Pontil, 12 sided, 8 ¼" high X 3 ¾" wide, applied flanged lip, has some bubbles in the glass, highly whittled. Has been lightly cleaned and has several tiny lip chips, the largest is 1/8". A spectacular looking bottle with large size and beautiful color, extremely rare, from Zanesville Ohio, $2,800
