The wax seal groove was formed by depressing the blown projection on the neck of the jar while the glass was still in an elastic state. Very bold embossing, lots of bubbles in the glass. The jar is in perfect condition but has some brownish residue trapped in the folded mouth, a fine example of this rare and early jar, $950
